At our inn in North carolina, we offer here at the Taylor House Inn many options for weddings and receptions. We cater to the bride and groom’s wishes; every wedding is unique and special to us. We welcome any suggestions.
In order to have a wedding at the Taylor House, the Inn has to be booked by the wedding party. The Inn has 9 rooms, and the price is based on double occupancy with some rooms accommodating more than 2 people. An extra person will be charged $25 + taxes per night. Rooms include a full breakfast (2-course gourmet style), afternoon coffee, tea, and sweets. Your guests will find fresh flowers and chocolate kisses in their rooms.
To reserve the date for your special event, a non-refundable deposit will be required and applied to the package cost. A contract signed by both parties is mandatory. A change of date may be made up to 180 days prior to the event with no additional cost. Due to any conditions beyond our control (weather, power outages, etc), another available date may be selected at no additional charge. If the event is cancelled and not rescheduled, however, there will be a forfeiture of the entire reservation. All prices and policies are subject to change until a contract is signed by both parties.
We offer one (1) night free to the bride two or three weeks prior to the wedding (1 room/week day) in order to meet the different vendors and wedding specialists at the Taylor House facilities and to finalize the details. We need at least one week's notice.
We will order all the rentals according to the size of the occasion. This will be due before the end of the event.
We have an extensive list of ministers, florists, caterers, musicians, photographers, theme planners, and great specialty cake makers! We can help you with many details.
